Selected from richly coloured, low-yielding fruit on Terra Rossa soils, the wine was fermented with traditional open-plunger techniques and aged 16 months in high-quality French oak (20% new). Deep brick-red, the nose unfurls intense aromas of blackberry, dark chocolate, spice and vanillin oak. Full-bodied and dense, it offers vibrant acidity, fine-grained tannins and a long, savoury, mineral-driven finish. Awarded 95 points on Corkscore and 97 points by James Halliday’s Wine Companio.
