Eisenstone Ebenezer Shiraz SR802 2023, crafted by Stephen Cook from the northern Barossa’s warm, ironstone-rich Ebenezer district, is a deeply flavoured Shiraz that balances ripe fruit power with remarkable poise and regional definition.

Blackberry, blueberry, plum and mulberry drive the nose, wrapped in savoury oak, dark chocolate and earthy ferrous notes. The Eisenstone SR802 Ebenezer Shiraz 2023 is concentrated and full-bodied, yet held neatly by firm, fine tannins that give the wine focus, freshness and a long finish.

Pair it with slow-roasted lamb shoulder, chargrilled rump cap, beef daube or a rich mushroom and black-truffle pie. The wine’s dark-fruit depth and robust structure thrive alongside generous, slow-cooked dishes and make it an excellent Shiraz to decant or cellar.
