Eisenstone 'Becker Vineyard Koonunga' Shiraz SV907

Eisenstone Becker Vineyard Koonunga Shiraz SV907 2023, made by Stephen Cook from the old-vine Mt Charles block in Barossa’s Koonunga district, is a rich, intense Shiraz with deep-set fruit, ironstone complexity and exceptional presence.

Very dark and saturated in the glass, it opens with charry oak, coconut, vanilla, mocha and a distinctive ironstone edge. The Eisenstone SV907 Becker Vineyard Shiraz 2023 is full-bodied and dense, with blackberry, dark chocolate and fine tannins carrying enormous flavour through a long finish.

Bring out a tomahawk steak, slow-roasted beef short ribs, smoked brisket or gamey venison pie. This is a powerful Barossa red designed for serious food, rewarding a long decant and making a brilliant centrepiece for a proper barbecue feast.
