Eisenstone 'Moppa' Shiraz SR806

Eisenstone ‘Moppa’ Shiraz SR806 2023, made by Stephen Cook from the Richardson Vineyard on the Greenock–Moppa boundary in Barossa Valley, is a finely tuned Shiraz that marries dark-fruited charm with the site’s distinctive quartz and ironstone character.

Deep ruby in the glass, it opens with inviting dark cherry and mulberry aromas, followed by a subtle earthy edge. The 2023 Eisenstone Moppa Shiraz SR806 is mid-weight and expressive, with supple integrated tannins, savoury detail and impressive drinkability.

Serve it with chargrilled lamb cutlets, beef and mushroom pie, slow-roasted pork shoulder or smoky barbecue sausages. Its bright fruit, earthy complexity and polished shape make it an effortless choice for a long lunch, a weeknight roast or relaxed entertaining.
