Montenovo is this producer’s entry-level offering, crafted from massale selection vines propagated from the oldest, ‘baddest’ Godello in the world—the 130+ year old vines of the Pedrouzos vineyard. These younger vineyards are spread across the slate ridden Valdeorran villages of Rubiá, A Rúa, Larouco, Petín and O Bolo. The fruit from each soil type or plot was vinified independently and malo was suppressed.

A star-bright intro to the Domaine’s Godello offer, this highland white combines apple and pear-skin freshness, lovely texture and a saline-infused palate, topped off by light flintiness on the clean, long and crunchy finish.
