About this product
Gentle Folk Village Sauvignon Blanc 2025 from Gareth Belton’s high-altitude Adelaide Hills vineyards is an arrestingly refined white, turning Sauvignon Blanc into something textural, polished and seriously compelling. Whole-bunch pressed and matured in neutral French oak, it carries freshness and depth in equal measure.
Citrus, grapefruit and Granny Smith apple meet orchard fruit, subtle tropical tones and a savoury lift of fennel and coriander. The Gentle Folk Village Sauvignon Blanc is dry and medium-bodied, with a delicate creamy feel from time on lees, taut acidity and a fine phenolic grip extending the finish.
This Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc deserves grilled whiting, scallops with herb butter, roast chicken or asparagus risotto rather than an afterthought snack. Its vivid acidity refreshes rich flavours, while the layered fruit and savoury texture make it a brilliant bottle to open for a proper long lunch.
