Gentle Folk Village Chardonnay 2025 from Gareth and Rainbo Belton’s Basket Range winery is a refined Adelaide Hills Chardonnay, combining mountain freshness with generous stone fruit and quietly confident oak. It is an elegant, modern expression that delivers real detail and polish without losing its easy, drinkable charm.

White peach, nectarine and nashi pear lead the aromatics, with nougat, citrus blossom, cedar and a hint of salted chalk building complexity. Gentle Folk Village Chardonnay is medium-bodied and finely textured, its creamy lees character balanced by vivid acidity, subtle toast and a long, mineral finish.

Serve this Adelaide Hills Chardonnay with roast chicken, lobster rolls, pan-fried scallops or a buttery leek and Gruyère tart. The wine’s bright acidity keeps richer dishes fresh, while its restrained oak and nutty detail make it a superb partner for elegant seafood, creamy sauces and a long lunch.
