Usher Tinkler Reserve Shiraz 2022 is a premium Hunter Valley wine crafted from some of the oldest Shiraz vines on the estate, ranging from 50 to 80 years old. The grapes are carefully basket pressed by hand to extract soft and sweet tannins. The wine is matured in large, 500-liter barrels from Mercurey, with 20% new oak, to add elegance and depth without overwhelming the fruit. It showcases lifted aromas of white pepper, spice, and black mulberries, with a full-bodied, dense, and focused palate. The tannins are fine-grained and balanced, making it both sophisticated and accessible, with good cellaring potential. This Shiraz expresses a classic yet modern Hunter Valley style, emphasizing terroir and winemaking finesse.​
