This Terra de Cuques blanc 2022 from winery Terroir Al Limit is a blend of 60% Grenache Blanc and 40% Pedro Ximenez sourced from more than 25-year-old slate/clay vines from La Morera del Montsant.

The grapes for this white Priorat wine are hand harvested, fermented in whole bunches for 5 days in inox and cement tanks and then aged in cement for 6 months.

The traditional combination of extraction, oxidation and maceration encourages lean and structured layers – almost more red in style than white – to emerge on the palate and convey the unmistakable voice of the plots.

From an initially rich, fino-like character emerges a wine of tension and freshness with tangy citrus layers of white currant, mirabel and spring flowers. A unique expression that embodies the full finesse and depth of the region.
