Saturated with inky black fruit, it opens with plum, black cherry, and liquorice, layered over graphite-like minerality and black olive savouriness. A lick of pepper and toasty cedar from 11 months in French and American oak rounds out the palate. Muscular yet refined tannins frame a long, spice-laden finish.
