Château Tanunda Grand Barossa Shiraz, crafted by Jeremy Ottawa at Château Tanunda in the Barossa Valley’s Vine Vale sub‑region, is a succulent and refined expression of classic Barossa Shiraz. Deep crimson-black, it greets the nose with blackberry, plum, black pepper, star anise and subtle vanilla oak. The palate is generous and silky, layered with blackberry, dark plum, chocolate and spice, with a mineral undercurrent adding focus. Fine-grained tannins and fresh acidity give balance and length. Critically well-rated – scored 93 points by Sam Kim at Wine Orbit and 92 points  by Ken Gargett at Winepilot. Perfect with barbecued meats or slow-roasted lamb.
