Five Geese Reserve Jen’s Block Cabernet Sauvignon, crafted by Mike Farmilo from century‑old vines in Blewitt Springs, McLaren Vale, is a refined and boldly savoury expression of Cabernet. Deep ruby-purple in hue, it offers aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant, satsuma plum and subtle capsicum herb. The palate is powerful yet elegant, with dense dark fruit layered over tobacco spice and licorice depth, framed by firm, polished tannins and bright acidity. Aged 16 months in largely French oak, it delivers length and structure. Scored 91 points by James Holiday, this is wine for grilled beef or aged cheeses.
