Dreissigacker Wunderwerk Riesling, masterfully produced by Jochen Dreissigacker at his biodynamic estate in Bechtheim. A single-cuvée Riesling marrying fruit from sun-drenched Bechtheim sites and cooler Westhofen vineyards, naturally fermented and matured (15% in large wood, 85% in stainless steel), aged eight months on gross lees and twelve on fine lees, followed by three years in bottle for layered harmony and power. The bouquet reveals lime zest, herbal nuance, passion fruit, and stone-fruit tones. The palate is dry, structured, and mineral-driven, with crystalline acidity, complex texture and impressive aging potential. A modern Riesling masterwork-enigmatic, expressive, and deeply compelling.
