Mulline Syrah 2023 from Geelong is a medium-bodied, bright crimson wine with red-fruited notes of plums, dark berries, and a dusting of white and black pepper spice. It features about 20% whole bunch fermentation and is matured for around 7 months in French oak puncheons, 20% new oak, which provides silky tannins and a balanced structure. The palate offers lifted spice, gentle florals, and a slight earthiness, making it an elegant and nicely poised wine suitable for short- to medium-term drinking.
