Northern Hope Pyrenees Syrah 2021 is a small-batch, single-vineyard Syrah sourced from the Shay’s Flat vineyard in the Pyrenees, Victoria. Organically farmed and wild-yeast fermented, it was aged in 2-year-old French oak for 18 months. The wine is soft, approachable, and textured, showing a medium red hue with savoury aromas, hints of dusty dark chocolate, cherry pith, spice, and pepper on the palate. It’s unfined, unfiltered, and contains minimal sulphites, reflecting true cool-climate Syrah character.
