Dog Point Sauvignon Blanc 2025 (6 Bottles) Marlborough, New Zealand
About this product
Dog Point Sauvignon Blanc 2025 from Marlborough is their classic, dry, aromatic savvy – pure, bright and saline, with a little more seriousness than most yet still utterly smashable. This Dog Point Sauvignon Blanc 2025 is drawn from eight estate vineyards in the Wairau Valley, whole–bunch pressed and aged in stainless steel, with a small indigenous–yeast component for extra texture.
In the glass you’re looking at pale straw–green and a lifted nose of grapefruit, lemon, lime and mandarin, backed by ripe tropicals (guava, passionfruit), white pear, green apple, lemongrass and subtle herbal notes. The palate is dry, zesty and intensely citrus–driven, with a juicy core of grapefruit, lime and stonefruit wrapped in deliciously refreshing saline acidity and a whisper of talc–like minerality on the finish. It’s concentrated yet never heavy – a serious Marlborough sauvignon that stays crisp, vibrant and very drinkable.
On the table, it begs for fresh oysters, mussels, simply grilled fish or prawns with lemon, where that acid and salt–spray edge really shine. It’s also spot–on with goat’s cheese, summer salads or as a pre–dinner aperitif, making Dog Point Sauvignon Blanc 2025 a benchmark choice for anyone chasing a more refined take on Marlborough savvy.
