In the excellent 2018 vintage the old vines in Block 1 really delivered the goods. On the nose the positive French oak is more than matched by the rich, white peach fruit. The palate is full bodied and complex with great depth of flavour, all kept in check by fine, cool climate acidity. A wine that will age slowly and well. Mmm, roast chicken.
