Mulline Sutherlands Creek Chardonnay 2024 is a complex, textured, and beautifully balanced cool-climate Chardonnay from the Moorabool Valley in Geelong. Made from 100% P58 clone, the grapes are whole-bunch pressed and undergo a natural wild fermentation with lees contact for 8 months in 25% new French and Austrian oak puncheons. The bouquet shows vivacious aromas of grapefruit pith, just-ripe white peach, jasmine, bath salts, and a slaty minerality. The palate is gentle yet creamy with grilled peach, preserved lemon, citrus, smoked cedar, and a touch of nutty oak. The wine finishes with pithy citrus, nutty oak, and slaty notes, offering excellent structure and balance. It has been awarded 97 points by Halliday Wine Companion and 95+ points by Campbell Mattinson of The Wine Front, with good cellaring potential to 2027-2032+.​
