Koerner Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir 2023, by winemakers Damon & Jono Koerner, is a finely tuned cool-climate wine from the Willsmore Vineyard in Piccadilly (Adelaide Hills). Aromas of wild strawberry, red cherry and rose petal open, backed by earthy undertones and a whisper of forest floor. The palate is light-to-medium bodied with soft, plush tannins and bright acidity, framed by gentle minerality and subtle oak influence from aging in large Slovenian oak foudre. While no major award scores are published yet, its pedigree and balance suggest strong potential for 5-8 years cellaring.
