Rockburn Nine Barrels Pinot Noir is a flagship barrel-selection release from Rockburn’s Parkburn vineyard (Central Otago), curated by winemaker Malcolm Rees-Francis. The wine exudes dark cherry, plum, five-spice and thyme aromas, weaving in forest floor and subtle oak. On the palate it is elegant but intense, framed by fine tannins, buoyant acidity and a stony mineral thread that gives drive. Rated 94 pts by WineFolio in 2022 for its poise and purity. At 14.1 % ABV (Vivino listing), this Pinot is already compelling yet will evolve beautifully over 8+ years.
