Brash Higgins CHN Chenin Blanc 2024 is a single-vineyard, dry and textural Chenin from Blewitt Springs, McLaren Vale, grown on 35-year-old vines over deep white beach sands. Grapes are destemmed, spend 2–3 days on skins, and ferment wild in neutral French barriques for 12 months, emphasizing the maritime influence of the site and enhancing texture. The wine is vibrant and layered, with aromas of lemon verbena, ginger, papaya, preserved lemon, quince, and honey, followed by additional flavors of apple, straw, fennel, and celery root. Expect a saline, minerally edge, lots of grip, and finesse without any oak showiness. Only 255 cases were bottled; it’s a standout example of Australian Chenin Blanc for lovers of characterful, food-friendly whites.​
