Shobbrook Ottantotto Syrah 2019 is made from a rare 88-year-old vineyard in Vine Vale with extremely low yields. It is inky, brooding, and dark with intense spice, dark cherry, game meat, raspberry, and old leather aromas. The palate is bold, savoury, and complex, showing beautiful fine tannins, amaro-like bitterness, and a stalky, stemmy finish. It is regarded as a future classic with 95 points from critics.
