Rowlee Sparkling Cuvée 2024 from Orange, NSW, is a pale lemon-yellow sparkling wine with a hint of green and pewter fleck. It features refined aromas of lemon pith, wet slate, subtle brioche, and delicate strawberry sorbet notes. On the palate, it has an intense bead and lively mousse with flavors of brioche, lemon zest, and Granny Smith apple blossom, delivered along a crisp, crunchy acid line. This dry, bracing aperitif style wine was made from 94% Chardonnay and 6% Pinot Noir, harvested early for intense acidity and lower sugar, and matured on full yeast lees for 10 months to build texture. It scored 92 points from Sam Kim Orbit in January 2025.
