A fragrant nose of blueberry and dark cherry, with hints of spicy oak. An array of red fruits greet the front palate with strawberry, cranberry and sour cherry characters giving way to a spicy smokey mid palate before the red fruits reappear on the back palate mingled with soft tannins. A layered wine that builds to a satisfying finish.

Pinot Noir pairs extremely well with duck (especially Peking Duck) and also works with chicken, turkey, pigeon and quail. It’s other great match is with Pork. It goes very well with earthy vegetables like mushrooms. For cheese look to Brie, Camembert, Gruyere or goats cheese.

Produced from estate grown fruit and selected Otway vineyards. Matured in French Oak (25% new) for 9 months. A light crimson ruby and an attractive fruit driven nose redolent of boysenberries, poached strawberries and gentle spice. A delicious supple pinot straight out of the gate. It’s got enough silky smooth tannins to ensure it will age over the short to medium term.
