About this product
Bay of Fires Pinot Noir 2023 from Tasmania is a seriously impressive cool‑climate Pinot – bright ruby in the glass, bursting with sweet red fruits yet wrapped in savoury detail and beautiful balance. It’s already decorated with trophies and top scores, so you’re in very safe hands here.
Expect lifted aromas of raspberry, cherry and strawberry, layered with cinnamon, anise, dried herbs, black olive, forest floor and a touch of game and smoked oyster complexity. The palate is silky and medium‑bodied – sweet cherry and red plum fruit framed by fine, cashmere‑like tannins, exotic spice and vibrant, lacy acidity, finishing long, poised and genuinely complex.
Bay of Fires Pinot Noir 2023 is a dream with duck breast and cherry, roast pork belly, mushroom risotto or Tasmanian salmon off the grill. It will also shine with charcuterie, washed‑rind cheeses and herb‑roasted chicken, where that supple texture and mix of red fruits and savoury nuance really sing on the table.
