The Magical Animal is the more traditional Chardonnay from Brave New Wine.

The fruit is sourced from a stunning single vineyard in Porongurup, Great Southern. The fruit is pressed straight to one brand new oak barrel and one that had been used before for wild ferment. It’s left on full gross lees for 11 months to build texture then bottled with just a whisper of sulphur before bottling.

The resulting wine is a raucous and wild version of Chardonnay, flush with ripe fruit and toasty oak.
