Larry Cherubino Laissez Faire Porongurup Pinot Noir (Larry Cherubino, Laissez Faire range, Porongurup, Great Southern WA) is an elegant, medium-bodied pinot with poise and vineyard character. Aromas of red cherry, cranberry and rose petals are underpinned by earthy beetroot and a whisper of oak spice. The palate shows fine, chalky tannins, vibrant acid and a linear minerality, carrying generous fruit into a long, clean finish. Scored 94 points by The Real Review in the 2022 Halliday Report. At 13.6% ABV, this is drinking well now and has potential for further development over the next 5-7 years.
