Henri Prudhon Bourgogne Pinot Noir is drawn from several plots in Saint-Aubin aged 10-40 years, planted on clay-limestone soils with westerly exposure. It undergoes an 8-day maceration and ages in oak barrels (no new oak), bottled after 6-8 months. The wine is supple and very fruity, with aromas of red cherries, raspberry and gentle earth, complemented by spice. On the palate it offers round texture, lively acidity, and a clean, youthful finish. Scored 86-88 points by Burghound for its fruit-forward profile with just a touch of bitter-pit at the end Pairs beautifully with roast poultry, simple first courses, or light charcuterie.
