Eldredge Blue Chip Riesling is a distinguished Clare Valley dry white wine known for its bright and fresh profile. It is beautifully perfumed with aromas of green apples, lime, wax, and lime blossoms. The palate is dry and lightly weighted, featuring vibrant lemon, mineral, and lemon oil flavors with fine acidity, suggesting good aging potential. The wine is made from a small parcel in the estate vineyard situated at around 550 meters elevation, undergoing a long, slow cold fermentation with minimal fining and filtration. It can be enjoyed young and fresh but also has the capacity to comfortably cellar for 10 to 15 years or longer. The 2024 vintage shows zesty lime and Granny Smith apple notes, accented by mandarin and flinty minerals, with a chalky, slightly sour finish that adds freshness.
