The wines of Terrefort are the heirs of the noble House of Terrefort, successive property since the eighteenth century, of the families Larrieu, Masparrault, Brane, Dourmec and today Durousseau.

The estate, replanted in 1989, straddles the Haut-Médoc and Margaux appellations. On this terroir with multiple soils and influences are born nectars from Haut-Médoc offering a remarkable richness. Grown up in a bucolic setting where Limousin cows graze in meadows along the rows of vines.

Nose: Cherry, blackcurrant, plum and oak

Palate: Well balanced with firm tannins & best decanted for at least half an hour
