Rob Dolan ‘White Label’ Pinot Noir, crafted by Rob Dolan, Adrian Santolin & team from the cool-climate Willowlake Vineyard in Yarra Valley, Victoria. Sam Kim awarded it 95 points, praising its “dark plum, roasted hazelnut, porcini and rich floral aromas,” and “a plush mouthfeel wonderfully framed by beautifully melded tannins”. Natalie MacLean echoed with 93/100, noting layered complexity of ripe dark plum, roasted hazelnut, earthy porcini, delicate florals and velvety texture. On the palate, expect cranberry, raspberry underpinned by violet perfume, nutmeg and silk-like tannins. A textural, terroir-reflective Pinot- elegant, structured, and compelling both now and with time.
