Harvested in the cool of the morning, the fruit was immediately transferred to the winery to be gently drained and pressed. Importantly, only the purest free-run juice was used. Cool fermentation was followed by eight months on lees in stainless steel before clarification, cold stabilization and bottling.

It’s a simple winemaking sequence that lays bare the grape quality. The 2022 vintage provided the best Grigio fruit yet for the MDI wines, and that’s reflected in the bottle. A home run!
