Levantine Hill Estate Pinot Noir, masterfully crafted by winemaker Paul Bridgeman in the cool-climate Upper Yarra Valley, Victoria. This 100% Pinot Noir blends fruit from multiple estate parcels, largely MV6 clone planted in 1994, fermented gently (10% new French oak, 500L to 228L formats) and aged for nine months before bottling unfined and vegan-friendly. The wine presents enticing aromas of red and dark cherries, strawberry, orange peel, forest floor, allspice, tea-leaf and tilled earth. On the palate, pomegranate, rhubarb, pink peppercorn and earthy undertones weave around fine-grained tannins and cool-climate poise. Awarded 95 points by Halliday, this elegant Pinot promises graceful cellaring for 8-10 years.
