Levantine Hill Estate Chardonnay, masterfully produced by Paul Bridgeman in the cool-climate Yarra Valley, Victoria. This 100% Chardonnay was gently whole-bunch pressed, fermented in a mix of large foudre and smaller French oak barrels, and matured on lees with some malolactic fermentation enhancing texture and richness. The glass reveals aromas of orange blossom, lemon verbena, Meyer lemon, grapefruit pith, custard apple, and flint with a strike-match note. The palate is rich and layered, offering lemon posset, petrichor, and supple stone fruit, anchored by fine acidity and a lengthy, saline-kissed finish.
