Les Promesses is a fruit-forward effort that gives up plenty of violets, apricot and florals. Medium-bodied, it’s a serious crowd-pleaser.
The Gonnet family settled in this part of the southern Rhone back in the 1600s and built the farmhouse that today serves as the estate’s headquarters in 1880. Today the property is in the careful hands of cousins Bertrand and Guillaume Gonnet.
