Domenica shiraz is grown on a southern sloping ridge of our vineyard. Small parcels are fermented separately in batches yielding dramatic differences which present wonderful blending options.

This year’s release is powerful with a deep core of fruit and the structure to live for many years. It is a savoury, cool climate wine of complexity and longevity.

2021 was a cool growing season with a long ripening window, resulting in perfectly balanced fruit. A welcome return to kind growing conditions after losing the 2020 crop.

The small parcel was fermented in concrete before ageing in French barrique. The wine shows a remarkable level of detail in the flavour and aroma profile. It is powerful and has the structure to live for many years.
