Mordrelle Lenswood Gran Reserva Chardonnay 2017 by Mordrelle Wines from Adelaide Hills shows a soft golden hue with flavours of white peach, honeycomb and green apple entwined with brioche, truffle and subtle butterscotch. Aromas of orchard fruit, pastry and roasted nuts rise from the glass, and the palate is vibrant with smooth acid and oak-driven texture, finishing long, savoury and elegant. It was aged in French oak barriques for 22 months.
