After being fed by our children, the calves would run with the kids around the paddock. Once at full size and seeing someone in the paddock they would come barrelling down the steepest hills to see you.
A bit scary when in winter they could slide for nearly a hundred metres towards you! However, a much better option in my opinion than running with a bull hoping not to be gored…
