Thiele Road Grenache springs from a single old-vine block planted in 1941 along Thiele Road in Bethany, showing the deep heritage and textured intensity of Barossa grenache. Aromas of bramble, raspberry, black cherry and star anise intertwine with crushed flower petals, deli-meat savouriness and earthy umami tones. The palate is medium-bodied, with fine, chalky tannins, vibrant acid and sweet spice-clove, light vanilla-while dark fruit persists through the finish. Scored 93 points by The Real Review and 94/100 by James Suckling. Best enjoyed with roast pork, duck with plum sauce, or charcuterie.
