Aromas of red cherry, strawberry with notes of pink grapfruit and a flick gun flint reduction. The palate is dry yet has soft and textural, juicy red fruit flavours are intwined with creamy textural notes all driven by a fresh pink grapefruit acid line.

Selected parcels of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier were handpicked and whole bunch pressed directly to old French oak barrels for natural fermentation, while the Pinot Gris parcel was fermented and left on skins for a period of 4 weeks. A selection of saignée barrels where lightly coloured juice is bled from the vats after 24 hours on skins, then barrel fermented in French oak casks was also included into the final blend. This wine is made in a dry savory style.

A warm, dry early season after good spring rains has resulted in excellent crops, delivered to the winery in near perfect harvesting conditions. Resulting wines display a freshness and vibrancy with strong varietal flavours.
