A lovely fresh and toasty brioche nose with fresh lemon and citrussy notes. The palate is fresh and bright with green apple, spice and citrus fruits. There is great structure and mouthfeel by combining a creamy texture with fine natural acid. The finish is long and lively. A lot more depth than is expected at this price point.

70% Chardonnay, 25% Pinot Noir, 5% Pinot Meunier; The fruit was harvested in the cool of night at optimum ripeness to preserve its natural freshness.

Only the free-run juice was used and was cold fermented to retain the aromatics and primary fruit flavours. The wine underwent a secondary fermentation to provide a fine bead and was on lees for 8 months.
