Laurence and Rémi Dufaitre started their vineyard on 2001 in Saint-Étienne-des-Oullières, on the right bank of the Saône River. Their approach was inspired by Jules Chauvet, the winemaker, chemist and incredible taster, who wanted a return to traditional methods to make lighter and more aromatic wines. Laurence et Rémi Dufaitre has organic certification – Agriculture Biologique.

Nose: Fresh red fruit such as wild field berries, mineral and earthy
notes with a hint of mushroom aroma.
Palate: Deep and elegant palate with juicy acidity and soft tannin.

Vinification: 18 days of carbonic maceration then aged in old 2000-liter wood barrels. Bottled in March the year following harvest.
