The wine has a beguiling vibrant crimson colour. The bouquet gives up damson, mulberry, blueberry & raspberry notes and a floral lift of violets, with suggestions of red licorice & cinnamon providing complexity. Medium-bodied in the mouth; juicy, succulent & enticing.

Dense & concentrated fruit flavours are enhanced by a dash of spice, fine ripe tannins & balanced acidity, making this a hugely appealing & very drinkable fruit driven style. Drink to 2027. Would be excellent with roast pork loin with cranberry sauce, or baked aubergine with white beans & thyme

A challenging vintage due to rain, rain & rain. However, due to our thorough viticulture team’s management we avoided any major issues through meticulous canopy management & judicious use of organically approved sprays, meaning quality remained assured.

Malbec was picked from our original Wilyabrup site on 24th March and on the Karridale site on 26th March. A parcel of Tempranillo (10.5% of the blend) was picked on the Karridale site on 9th March. Both vineyards are sustainably farmed following organic principles.
