Hedonist Fiano 2024 (12 Bottles) McLaren Vale

Hedonist Fiano, crafted by winemakers Walter Clappis, his daughter Kimberly, and James Cooter in the biodynamically farmed Cooter Vineyard, Whites Valley, Willunga Foothills (McLaren Vale), is a pale-straw delight. The bouquet unfurls lemon blossom, white-fleshed stone fruits, toasted nuts, pink grapefruit, and a whisper of honey. On the palate, crisp Golden Delicious apple tartness is layered over a fine, chalky texture and persistent stone-fruit core, with salted pistachio and hazelnut cream lending a silken mouthfeel. The finish is long, crunchy, savoury and mineral-tinged. A vibrant, textural Fiano critics yet to weigh in on this new vintage.
