Predominantly from the Schoolhouse Block at Glenguin. A raised ancient river bench of deep gravel over clay soils, sustainable farming with permanent grasses throughout. No glyphosate herbicide or pesticides used. Hand pruned and handpicked.
A combination of original Busby and Penfolds clones with an average age over 26 years. Yields averaging 1.5 tons per acre.
A week cold soaking on skins followed by a temperature controlled fermenter utilizing 20% whole bunches. Matured in small neutral French oak for 14 months prior to bottling.
