The Laura Lardy Morgon Cote du Py comes from old vines and that age is seen through great structure, depth of flavour and length.
The Beaujolais cru of Morgon produces some really complex Gamays, and this wine is no different. Whole bunches undergo carbonic maceration, a process which often results in light and fruity wines, but the quality of grapes here is excellent. The wine has great depth of flavour with red and blue fruits and loads of spice.
Don’t be afraid to cellar this for a few more years so everything can develop nicely.
