Dryridge Estate 'HARRY' Sangiovese
Dryridge Estate ‘HARRY’ Sangiovese 2021 (12 Bottles) Megalong Valley, NSW
About this product
Dryridge Estate ‘HARRY’ Sangiovese 2021 from the Megalong Valley is a dry, medium‑bodied Italian‑style red with plenty of personality, leaning into bright fruit, acidity and rustic charm rather than heaviness. It’s deliberately made in a vibrant, food‑friendly style, with slightly higher mouth‑watering acidity and tighter tannins that really come into their own at the table.
In the glass, HARRY Sangiovese 2021 shows red cherries, a touch of smoke and earthy herbaceous notes, along with spicy, oak‑derived nuances and a little peppery lift. The palate is lively and savoury, with those red fruits carrying through, supported by firm tannins and fresh acidity; serving it with a slight chill softens the edges and lets the fruit and florals shine through more clearly.
This Dryridge Estate HARRY Sangiovese 2021 is extremely versatile with food – a natural partner for pizza, tomato‑based pasta, grilled steak, roasted poultry and pork chops, as well as aged Parmesan or Provolone. It’s designed to drink well in its youth but will continue to develop nicely over about five years, gaining a bit more savoury depth while keeping its juicy, cherry‑driven core.
