Altair Estate

Altair Estate is a sustainably certified boutique winery located in Wilyabrup in the prestigious Margaret River region of Western Australia. Established in 2022 after acquisition by the Poli family, Altair Estate builds on the area’s rich history of producing world-class wines while introducing modern expressions of classic Margaret River and Italian varietals. The estate spans 30 hectares, with 12 hectares under vine, including ten grape varieties renowned for their suitability to both the region and Italian styles.

Altair’s philosophy centers on sustainable viticulture, balancing tradition with innovation to craft wines that reflect their unique terroir. The winery has quickly gained recognition for producing both full-bodied, age-worthy reds and vibrant, energetic wines designed to be enjoyed young. Notably, their 2021 Malbec won a bronze medal at the 2024 International Wine and Spirits Challenge, signaling a bright future.
