About this product

Terre Forti Sangiovese Rubicone IGT 2024 is a vibrant Emilia-Romagna red that captures Sangiovese’s rustic Italian charm in a fresh, easy-drinking style. Made by Terre Forti from grapes grown in the hills of Romagna, it delivers bright red fruit, savoury detail and lively acidity, making it a natural choice for pasta night.

Morello cherry, sour cherry, ripe plum and raspberry lead the nose, followed by dried herbs, red liquorice, terracotta, leather and a subtle clove spice. The 2024 Terre Forti Sangiovese is juicy and medium-bodied, with fresh acidity carrying the fruit across a soft, gently chewy tannin frame. It finishes clean, dry and pleasingly savoury.

Pair Terre Forti Sangiovese Rubicone IGT 2024 with spaghetti Bolognese, wood-fired pizza, lasagne, grilled sausages, eggplant parmigiana or a relaxed antipasto platter. Its bright cherry fruit and lively acid line cut through tomato-based sauces brilliantly, while the gentle tannins love chargrilled meats and aged hard cheeses.
