Grapes sourced from the Tumblong vineyard in the Gundagai region which has established an enviable reputation for Italian varietals including Sangiovese.

Deep red colour with purple hues. Dark cherry and earthy aromas and flavours. The palate is complex and earthy with dark berry notes and smooth tannins. The finish is long and savoury.

The grapes were all de-stemmed and fermented whole berries in open fermenters then lightly pressed at the end of fermentation directly on to 10% new French oak barriques and 90% old barriques. The wine was matured for 8 months in French oak, racked from and gently filtered to bottle. No fining.

This wine is vegan friendly.
